Home Depot of Charlottetown, PEI, Cooperated with Habitat for Humanity in Sourcing Funds for Dwellings
Citizens across Charlottetown will now benefit from a month long donation process benefiting Habitat for Humanity in association with Home Depot. The project commenced across Canada throughout the months of June and July with all proceeds serving Habitat for Humanity in an effort to build homes. Over $4, 800 in donations were raised from the Charlottetown Home Depot location. Paper hammers were bought for the price of two dollars from costumers and posted within Home Depot throughout the months. Locations across Canada have chosen non-profit organizations to donate all Paper Hammer proceeds. Staff and management employed with Home Depot of Charlottetown also contributed their time as needed for on- site builds for homes. Home Depot continues to aid Habitat for Humanity by contributing products and donations.
