I purchased this coffee table at Habitat but it needed some TLC. I knew it had potential but just needed to be made lighter and brighter.

I purchased this handmade piece from Marketplace to make into a bar cabinet. I cut off 8 inches from the bottom, removed one of the shelves, added an arch detail and trim moulding to match other pieces in my home. I stripped the finish and applied a paint wash and stain to give a modern look and also added modern legs. I kept the original hardware. I hope that the original owner will be happy to see that their piece got a new life!

This Dresser is from the early 1900 it's just one piece of 4 that I redone over
This dresser is so beautiful it took me about 100 hours to complete this whole set sanding and staining

We picked up a couple of upholstered chairs from the Habitat store here on the island. We saw great potential in them. We wanted to update them with a new stain and upholstery while still honouring their original colour. We removed the seat and backing and completely re-did the cushions with new foam padding and fabric. We then stripped and sanded the wood, giving it some new life with a warm stain and a protective coating. We love the addition of these chairs in our cozy den.

My chaise lounge was a lovely piece of furniture when I bought it almost 25 years ago. It had since turned into a tired-looking, saggy, uncomfortable pièce of furniture that was too large for my space, and too low to transfer in and out of from my wheelchair. It was quite a big project and took me a couple of months to finish, but I'm very happy with the results. I repurposed all the high-density foam and webbing from the original chaise lounge, used leftover floral print from a previous project, and a large piece of denim gifted from my Mom. The only thing I had to buy was a higher set of legs to make the chair the ideal height for wheelchair transfers. Total cost for this transformation - $46.

It’s a mini vintage jewelry wardrobe which i found unloved. It was in brown color before and color has faded in many places.

First i sanded the old color. Then clean it very well. Used spray color in white.
