Chelsey moved into her home on June 29th 2023
On June 29th, 2023, we held a Key Ceremony for Chelsey and her son. Chelsey has worked tirelessly to make her dream of owning a home a reality. Habitat for Humanity PEI provided Chelsey with the hand-up she needed.

We celebrated this amazing accomplishment with all of Chelsey’s friends and family, Habitat PEI staff and volunteers, and our incredible donors and supporters.

Congratulations Chelsey! We can’t wait to watch you thrive on this homeownership journey and we look forward to supporting you every step of the way.

Meet Chelsey

Chelsey is a single mother to her 6 year old son. Chelsey has been working tirelessly, holding down 3 jobs, for the past 3 years to make their dreams of owning their own home come true.

The family’s current home is quickly falling into disrepair and has mold and safety issues.

Chelsey’s son is looking forward to having his very own yard to play in and having somewhere to put a swing set.

They are both looking forward to having a safe and reliable home to call their own.

Chelsey and her son are so excited to move into their forever home and are thrilled to become a Habitat PEI partner family.
