One of our longtime volunteers, Frank King, was nominated by Sherwood Timbermart for the 2023 Local Leader Initiative. Frank went up against 8 other contestants from across the region and was the selected winner (by a landslide) for Atlantic Canada!

Frank has chosen to put this Local Leaders Initiative grant towards Habitat for Humanity PEI, to help offset the costs of building a Habitat PEI Home. We want to thank Sherwood Timbermart for nominating Frank for this grant, but more importantly, we want to thank Frank. Frank, you have been an incredible volunteer over the years, going above and beyond for us. There are not enough words to share about how much we appreciate you!
